Qur'an Bible Comparison Suras 72 - End

Is the Muslim sacred book - Qur'an (Koran) really given by God? This page is the last in a series showing where it disagrees with the Bible. As usual, Allah is adamant about not having a son, that those who don't believe in Allah are going to be tormented in hell forever and ever, that humans were made from a clot, and other assorted sundry absurdities and blasphemies.

3 And (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - has taken neither wife nor son,
Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, you son of David, fear not to take unto you Mary your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Revelation 21:7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Allah has no wife, neither does God. God has a Spirit (Holy Ghost) and Son (Jesus Christ). Allah has neither - poor Allah.
Actually, God wants ALL of us to be his sons

17 That We may test them thereby, and whoso turns away from the remembrance of his Lord; He will thrust him into ever-growing torment.
18 And the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with Allah.
Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
John 4:22 You worship you know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
It is true, you cannot serve two different gods. I've heard of Christians trying to witness to Muslims, who go to their mosques and pray together. They say in their hearts they are praying to Jesus, but the place of worship they are in is only for Allah.

Sura 73:4 Or add (a little) thereto - and chant the Qur'an in measure,
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Well, maybe the Qur'an isn't technically a vain repetition even with the many references to doom, the fire, Allah has no son, fight for Allah etc., but chanting it? Remember, if Allah is really God, then we have to chant the Qur'an.

20 Lo! thy Lord knows how you keep vigil sometimes nearly two-thirds of the night, or (sometimes) half or a third thereof, as do a party of those with thee. Allah measures the night and the day. He knows that you count it not, and turns unto you in mercy. Recite, then, of the Qur'an that which is easy for you. He knows that there are sick folk among you, while others travel in the land in search of Allah's bounty, and others (still) are fighting for the cause of Allah. So recite of it that which is easy (for you), and establish worship and pay the poor-due, and (so) lend unto Allah a goodly loan. Whatsoever good you send before you for your souls, you will find it with Allah, better and greater in the recompense. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Matthew 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
They kept time in Israel at nite in Jesus' day, but not in Arabia 600 years later? Again, if Allah is really God, then Christians all these years have not been following God's commands - to recite the Qur'an, establish worship times, lend unto Allah etc. etc.

Sura 75:37 Was he not a drop of fluid which gushed forth?
38 Then he became a clot; then (Allah) shaped and fashioned
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
This subject comes up again (see sura 25:54) and again in the Qur'an, and it is the opposite of what the Bible says about how humans were made.

Sura 76:2 Lo! We create man from a drop of thickened fluid to test him; so We make him hearing, knowing.
Psalms 146:4 His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
When people die, they return to the earth, not a clot or fluid.

22 (And it will be said unto them): Lo! this is a reward for you. Your endeavour (upon earth) has found acceptance.
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
See sura2:134. Your acceptance with God is based on whether or not you believe in his son - Jesus Christ, and follow his commandments. Jesus gives the gift of eternal life to us.

Sura 77:20 Did We not create you from a base fluid
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
The dead sleep in the dust, because that is where they came from.

Sura 78:21 Lo! hell lurks in ambush,
22 A home for the rebellious.
23 They will abide therein for ages.
24 Therein taste they neither coolness nor (any) drink
25 Save boiling water and a paralysing cold:
Not in Bible
In addition to the boiling fluid and hooks of iron in sura 22:19, we now also have paralysing cold in Allah's hell.

37 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and (all) that is between them, the Beneficent; with Whom none can converse.
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Allah says you can't talk to him, God says he wants you to come talk to him. Which god sounds like he really cares about his created beings?

Sura 80:19 From a drop of seed. He creates him and proportions him,
Not in Bible
Didn't Allah say he created man from fluid? He said from a clot too. Now he says from a drop of seed?!

Sura 87:12 He who will be flung to the great Fire
13 Wherein he will neither die nor live.
Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Allah's fire will burn those in hell forever and ever and ever. God's fire will burn up the wicked as stubble, leaving neither root nor branch. Which action is of a god that really cares about the welfare of the beings it created?

Sura 96:2 Creates man from a clot.
Not in Bible
Clot is it? Wasn't it from fluid, or a drop of seed?!?!

Sura 98:1 Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters could not have left off (erring) till the clear proof came unto them,
2 A messenger from Allah, reading purified pages
3 Containing correct scriptures.

4 Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them.
5 And they are ordered nothing else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion.
6 Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy was probably written around 67AD. The Qur'an was written after 600AD. So there were no pure pages, no pure truth during those 530 some years? What is written about Jesus in the Bible is not totally pure and true? Actually, these ayats are often used by Muslims to justify their rejection of anything the Bible has to say that is different from the Qur'an. Allah likes to say he supports the scriptures (Bible), but when he teaches something different, he conveniently says that only his book - the Qur'an - has the real truth.
Notice that everyone is ordered to serve Allah, not Jesus Christ, and those who do follow Jesus Christ and not Allah, Allah calls "the worst of created beings"!!! So much for all of us serving the same god as he said in an other place.

Sura 112:2 Allah, the eternally Besought of all!
3 He begets not nor was begotten.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
This says it all. Even if this was the only verse showing a difference between the Qur'an and the Bible, this one would be proof enough -- Allah has no begotten, God does. Allah has no son, God does. The conclusion of the matter is: Allah and God are totally different beings.

This concludes the examination of all 114 suras (chapters). Only the more obvious differences with the Bible have been compared and commented on. After reading this, can it still be said by anyone that Allah and God are the same being? Is a being so interested in plunging his subjects into everlasting torments, and in putting so much energy into saying that he has no son, worthy of our praise, adoration, and love?

May we live and spread the gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ to our Christian friends who haven't studied this issue for themselves, and also to Muslims, so that they may "be gathered up, to meet our Lord in the air". Amen.
