Perhaps Allah forgot about Mark 12:25, so maybe this quote in Luke will remind him that NOBODY is getting married in heaven. Bad news for sex addicts/slave owners everywhere. Yes, I know, God has something much, much better planned for us

Sura 58:3 Those who put away their wives (by saying they are as their mothers) and afterward would go back on that which they have said, (the penalty) in that case (is) the freeing of a slave before they touch one another. Unto this you are exhorted; and Allah is Informed of what you do.
4 And he who finds not (the wherewithal), let him fast for two successive months before they touch one another; and for him who is unable to do so (the penance is) the feeding of sixty needy ones. This, that you may put trust in Allah and His messenger. Such are the limits (imposed by Allah); and for disbelievers is a painful doom.

With Allah it is OK to divorce and then get back together. With God too, but with the condition that neither one married anyone else during the time of divorcement. The strange thing here is the freeing of a slave before the owner can have sexual relations again, and if he is poor, he has to fast for two months or feed 60 needy people. Penance is a concept totally foreign to the Bible.
Sura 60:9 Allah forbids you only those who warred against you on account of religion and have driven you out from your homes and helped to drive you out, that you make friends of them. Whosoever makes friends of them - (All) such are wrong- doers.
Luke 6:29 And unto him that smites you on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that takes away your cloke forbid not to take your coat also.
60:13 O you who believe! Be not friendly with a folk with whom Allah is wroth, (a folk) who have despaired of the Hereafter as the disbelievers despair of those who are in the graves.

God is kind to the evil people
sura 48:15 so shouldn't we be too? True Christians do not believe in Allah, but they have not despaired of their loved ones in the grave. We know that Jesus Christ will come and raise those faithful sleeping souls, and take them to heaven :)
Sura 61:4 Lo! Allah loves them who battle for His cause in ranks, as if they were a solid structure.
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing you lack: go your way, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Allah loves those who battle for booty, Jesus loves those who sell their stuff.
61:6 And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who comes after me, whose name is the Praised One. Yet when he has come unto them with clear proofs, they say: This is mere magic.
Not in Bible
Pure fiction. The Qur'an is falsely saying that Jesus is prophesying of Mohammed and calling him the "Praised One".
61:9 He it is Who has sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it conqueror of all religion however much idolaters may be averse.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
The Qur'an is talking about Mohammed having the religion of truth that will conquer all religions. In contrast, Jesus says he has already overcome the world. Did he conquer by the sword, or by his selfless love - love leading to a horrific death on a cross?
61:14 O you who believe! Be Allah's helpers, even as Jesus son of Mary said unto the disciples: Who are my helpers for Allah ? They said: We are Allah's helpers. And a party of the Children of Israel believed, while a party disbelieved. Then We strengthened those who believed against their foe, and they became the uppermost.
2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
The Qur'an's language of "foe" and "uppermost" makes it sound like the disciples got the advantage thru warfare. But actually, they were beaten and hunted from place to place, and still today it cannot be said they "became the uppermost".
Sura 62:5 The likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass carrying books. Wretched is the likeness of folk who deny the revelations of Allah. And Allah guides not wrongdoing folk.
Hebrews 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
The old covenant of Moses' is superseded by the new covenant of Jesus'. The law of Moses with circumcision etc. was done away with at the cross. NOTICE: The law of God (10 commandments) was never done away with.
Sura 66:2 Allah has made lawful for you (Muslims) absolution from your oaths (of such a kind), and Allah is your Protector. He is the Knower, the Wise.
Numbers 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
hmmmmm. Allah says it's OK to lie for him, God says don't lie. Which one would you rather have as ruler in heaven?
Sura 71:11 He will let loose the sky for you in plenteous rain,
Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
Only the true God can make it rain. It is interesting that many of the ancient Middle Eastern idol gods were gods of rain, because rain is such a precious commodity in that area.
There are 114 suras (chapters) in the Qur'an, and we are nearing the end. The calls to fight, dissing Jesus, playboy heaven etc. are sickening aren't they? Who would have guessed this stuff was in a book many Christians are promoting as the "Muslim Bible"? May we tell the truth about the Qur'an lovingly and firmly, so that our God (who DOES have a son) will receive all the glory.
